The Brief

Way To Blue were briefed to lead the collation of EMEA and UK talent requests for the European premiere and junket of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ the biggest cinematic release of 2015.

The Solution

Way To Blue created the talent schedules for the EMEA junket and premiere. We liaised with each local Disney office to confirm all press requests and worked with the Disney EMEA team on talent approvals. On the day of the junket and premiere Way To Blue staff were on hand, staffing the press office and working with Disney to handle talent.

The Results

Talent schedules ran smoothly and Way To Blue’s coordination of EMEA and UK talent requests resulted in second to non-international coverage. ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ went on to become a box office phenomenon, and was 2015’s biggest release.
